Did you know that quinoa is NOT a grain? It’s actually a seed that packs quite a nutritional punch. It’s loaded with protein, beneficial unsaturated fats, magnesium and fiber. Plus, it is low on the glycemic index. In other words, it is a great choice for a main meal or a side dish.
I love quinoa. For years it has been a staple in my diet and one of my comfort foods. Plus, it is super easy to prepare. I love it so much I just had a share one of my favorite quick and easy quinoa recipes.
